Lyndsey Housden

Lyndsey Housden (UK/NL 1980), is an artist working with interactive and haptic installations, spatial design and interdisciplinary projects for exhibitions, theatre and festivals. Her work is often site-specific and plays with the illusion of architecture, creating rigid forms and layers of flexible materials that can be manipulated by touch. Her installations draw out and make tangible the invisible lines and flows that engage people with each other and their environment. Lyndsey’s work has been exhibited internationally including Marres House for Contemporary Culture NL, STRP Festival NL and the International Light Art Museum in Unna DE.

She is a researcher at the Royal Academy of Art KABK and teaches in the Interaction/Media/Design department of KABK.
