We nodigen u graag uit voor de BOUW OPEN Studios bij Broedplaats Bouw, Ferdinand Huyckstraat 74, Amsterdam op zaterdag 16 december vanaf 16.00 uur.

Kom langs voor een avond vol inspiratie en ontdek de verscheidenheid aan kunst, design, stijlen en media binnen onze broedplaats. Tijdens de BOUW OPEN kun je je de meest recente kunstwerken in onze studios bewonderen, met de kunstenaars over hun creatieve proces praten, de creativiteit van al onze makers ontdekken en kunst rechtstreeks van de kunstenaar kopen.

Natuurlijk geven we ook een feestje. De muziek worden verzorgd door DJ Cristel Ball en DJ Gandalf + DJ Spruitje. Geniet van Mexicaans eten & margarita's door Lupe en veganistisch eten door ASA Vegan Sushi.

An evening filled with inspiration, art, design and music. Come and see the most recent artworks, talk to artists about their creative process, make connections, and buy art directly from the artist.

‘Mag ik je zine zien?’ Expositie met zines

Een zine is een zelfgemaakt en gepubliceerd boekje, een plek om je eigen verhaal te vertellen. Op donderdag 14 december zijn er in de Bouwput allerlei zines te ontdekken: zines over brood in Palestina, over zelf zuurdesem bakken, over kaassoufflés en kaneelbroodjes. Over dansen en grindcore en de muziek van de stad. Over de verkiezingen en plekken waar we ons thuis voelen. Kom lezen, kijken, voelen, vertalen en zelf maken.
Dit is de afsluiting van een serie van drie workshops in MAQAM, waar deelnemers uit de Kolenkitbuurt en daarbuiten zines maakten aan de hand van de thema’s eten, muziek en plek. Er is ook nieuw werk te zien van kunstenaars wat weer reflecteert op deze workshops - het werk van de deelnemers, gesprekken en het thema. Iedereen is welkom, tot daar!

‘May I see your zine?’
Exhibition with zines

A zine is a handmade and self-published booklet, a place to tell your own story. On Thursday 14^th of December, all kinds of zines can be discovered at the Bouwput: zines about bread in Palestina, about baking your own sourdough, about kaassouflés and cinnamon buns. About dancing and grindcore and the music of the city. About the elections and places where we feel at home. Come to read, look, feel, translate and make!

This is the closing event of a series of three workshops in MAQAM, where participants from the Kolenkit and beyond made zines based on three themes: food, music and place. Also included is new work from artists who have reflected on these workshops – the work that was made there, conversations or the theme. Everyone is welcome, see you there!

Good Film, Bad Film

"Good Film, Bad Film" is een 3-daags programma met vertoningen waarbij archief bewegend beeld en films uit verschillende genres, lengtes en formaten worden getoond. De werken zijn afkomstig uit verschillende archieven in Amsterdam, waaronder de Appel, Home Cinema, LI-MA, en The One Minutes. Alle vertoonde werken zijn geselecteerd door de archieven op basis van de context van Good Film, Bad Film.

Het evenement is open en gratis toegankelijk voor het publiek in De Bouwput van 29 november tot 1 december.

Het event bestaat uit 3 vertoningen:
Woensdag 29 november: Deuren open om 18:30, totale duur: 65 minuten
Donderdag 30 november: Deuren open om 18:30, totale duur: 65 minuten
Vrijdag 1 december: Deuren open om 18:30, totale duur: 75 minuten

NFT-AMS

NFT-AMS is een tentoonstelling die een selectie die verschillende hedendaagse kunstenaars samenbrengt die de grenzen tussen fysiek en digitaal verkennen. Dadara, Dutchtide, Enrique Gutierrez, Marnix Postma, Handiedan, Mossy Giant, Noa Jansma, PIV en Peim van der Sloot maken allemaal gebruik van de mogelijkheden die blockchain, AI of nieuwe technologieën met zich mee brengt, en dat resulteert in zeer diverse kunstwerken en concepten. De verhalen die in deze expositie tot uiting komen, reiken verder dan het fysieke canvas en openen een venster naar een uniek en niet vervangbare nieuwe werkelijkheid.

NFT-AMS is onderdeel van MET-AMS dat tegelijkertijd plaatsvind in de Wetergasfabriek.

NFT-AMS is an exhibition that brings together a selection of various contemporary artists who explore the boundaries between physical and digital realms. Dadara, Dutchtide, Enrique Gutierrez, Marnix Postma, Handiedan, Mossy Giant, Noa Jansma, PIV and Peim van der Sloot all make use of the new possibilities that blockchain , AI and new technology brings, resulting in highly diverse artworks and concepts. The stories expressed in this exhibition extend beyond the physical canvas, opening a window to a unique and immutable new reality.

NFT-AMS is part of MET-AMS, which takes place simultaneously at the Wetergasfabriek.

Paperbound Zine Fair

PAPERBOUND was born in 2022 out of love for zines and a grant from the Amsterdam Fund for the Arts. This year we're again funded by AFK so we hope to bring you an exciting event once again. Join us for the weekend of the 27th until the 29th of October at DE BOUWPUT, AGA LAB & Athenaeum Nieuwscentrum.

We'll open the fair at the Athenaeum Nieuwscentrum on Friday the 27th at 17:00 with a small talk about what's to come. Bring your work and join the walk-in riso workshops at DE BOUWPUT on Saturday and Sunday. Or have your T-Shirt printed at AGA LAB, also on Saturday and Sunday. There will also be two presentations by Not Just a Collective and Roots to Fruits about their zines and work at the Athenaeum Nieuwscentrum, check the exact schedule per location here.

There will be tasty bites and drinks by Japanese Kitchen Hiro and resident. DJ Field Marshall Fred will take care of the musical selection. And of course check our tabling participants here.
